Mike Extended Bio

I always say I’m an engineer by trade. I spent 6 years in corporate America as a software engineer. But I’ve always been that guy that wanted to create. For me, software engineering was a vehicle to fund all my business ventures. While I was in corporate I built 3 companies. During that process, while my progression was very linear (pay raise or promotion every year), and achieving every target I had set, behind closed doors I was struggling with anxiety and panic attacks. I had all the nice things I thought I wanted, the big paycheck, the apartment on the Upper East Side, but something just wasn’t right.

I wanted to find out what was wrong with me. I genuinely thought my lungs weren’t working. I didn’t know what the ideas of anxiety or panic were… Being an engineer I had to reverse engineer what happened at those moments, and what happened in every single one of them was that I felt guilty… for not working.

So I realized that if I was able to show up more powerfully when I was working, maybe I wouldn’t feel guilty when I wasn’t. But I had 0 clues about what it meant to be productive.

This set me on the path of geeking out about productivity.

Productivity was the piece that cracked the door into high performance for me.

Fast forward a few years and I started my high performance coaching and consulting company. I built it as a side hustle for 1.5 years before taking it full-time. Now I run two companies (both in the consulting space), speak professionally around the country, and am the host of a Top-Rated podcast called The Results Engine Podcast where we've ranked in the top 50 of the Entrepreneurship category in 10+ countries.
